The CRVA is proud of the critical role it plays for the city, promoting Charlotte as a tourist destination, bringing conventions and meetings to the city, and managing public assembly facilities. We also recognize the need to inform all stakeholders, the hospitality industry, the community and our employees of our commitment to improve CRVA and restore accountability, transparency and operational efficiency.
Attached below are a written report from PricewaterhouseCoopers, who was asked by the CRVA Board of Directors to review several areas of CRVA policies and operations, and the resulting Operational Improvement Plan, which was developed and approved by the CRVA Board of Directors. This plan shows an aggressive agenda, but we are well on our way and fully committed to completion of this program and improvements to the CRVA so that we can continue to foster the sustained growth of our region’s hospitality industry.
