Purpose:
Assist Einstein Manager with maintaining compliance with applicable federal and state regulations regarding safety, health, and the sale of Einstein food and beverages. Organize work assignments for maximum productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Trains and motivates Einstein staff.
• Assists Manager with standard inventory controls and procedures.
• Adheres to both Convention Center and Einstein methods and policies.
• Assists Manager with Einstein store and inventory.
• Assists Manager with all records and detailed daily cash balance reports.
• Resolves complaints.
• Researches, records, and recommends remedial actions for reported non-usable, slow moving and excess stock.
• Researches discrepancies between inventory and stock control records. Recommends strategies to resolve and prevent.
• Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
• Maintain cooperative working relationship with all Einstein and Convention Center departments.
• Communicate via two-way radio.
• Meets workplace sanitation and safety guidelines at all times.
• Maintain professional attire, image and demeanor at all times.
• Comply with all CRVA and Convention Center policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The education/experience, language skills, mathematical skills, reasoning ability and physical demands required for this position are representative. • Food service or customer service related associates degree.
• 2 years supervisory experience in a quick service restaurant environment.
• Ability to operate kitchen and POS equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to communicate information effectively to managers, customers and the general public.
• Problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse techniques, working knowledge of computer spreadsheets and word processing programs, i.e. Word, Excel, etc. General office equipment experience.
