Special Events & Projects Grant Program
The CRVA’s Special Events & Projects Grant Program provides in-kind marketing and communications support to events and initiatives that enhance Charlotte’s appeal as a destination and contribute to the culture, character and vibrancy of our community. By supporting experiences that attract visitors and strengthen the destination, the program helps drive visitation, generate economic activity and extend the benefits of Charlotte’s visitor economy throughout the community.
Commitment to the Community
Our connection to Charlotte extends beyond the work we do to grow the visitor economy. CRVA team members contribute their time, talents and resources to organizations and initiatives that strengthen our community, from employee giving campaigns and volunteer projects to service with community and industry organizations.
That commitment also comes to life through the unique resources of our organization. Our venues and teams have supported efforts ranging from large-scale food distribution to partnerships that provide meals for local shelters. Whether responding to a community need, volunteering in our neighborhoods or supporting the future of hospitality and tourism, our team is proud to play a role in making Charlotte stronger.
NASCAR Hall of Fame Foundation
The NASCAR Hall of Fame Foundation helps open doors to learning for students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Through educational experiences that bring together the excitement of NASCAR with innovation, science, technology, engineering and math, the Foundation helps students build skills, discover possibilities and gain a competitive edge for the future.
Conventions With A Cause
The impact of a convention can extend well beyond the meeting itself. Through Conventions With a Cause, visiting groups can connect with local organizations and give back to the Charlotte community through volunteer projects, in-kind donations and other meaningful opportunities. The program helps meeting attendees make a difference while creating a deeper connection to the destination and a positive impact that lasts beyond their time in Charlotte.
